Just a few months ago, Epic Games announced that they were in the works of finishing up the account merging feature for Fortnite, allowing players to merge two or more console-linked accounts & have access to combined purchased Cosmetics, Save the World progression, V-Bucks & lifetime wins.
Today, Epic has announced that the account merging feature will be delayed until early next year due to some “ongoing technical concerns”. As Epic Games stated, “We want to make sure that this process is thoroughly tested and working properly before releasing it to those of you currently looking to transfer purchases from other accounts to your primary account.”
Epic plans on releasing a webpage upon the launch of this long-awaited feature to assist players on getting things set up. If anymore updates on the feature happens to arise, we’ll be sure to update you here first.
